1. Fez Medina & Fes el Bali:

The oldest neighborhood of the city, Fes el Bali can be named as the walkers delight. The ancient lanes, shops and historic monuments of Medina will give you a true flavor of the city.

2- Chouara Tannery :

The city of Fez is famous for its Tanneries. The Chouara Tannery is one of the fully running tanneries which still uses the technique from the 14th Century. The tannery is located in Fes el-Bali.

3-Kairaouine, the oldest university in the world:

The history of Kairaouine University can be traced back in 859. This university was originally founded as Mosque.

4-Jnan Sbil (Boujloud Garden):

The garden named Boujloud is located just outside the Medina Wall of the old city. This garden is also the home of the famous Batha Museum. This late 19th Century palace gives you an insight of the artwork of Morocco.

5- Merenid Tombs :

The giant tombs are located on the top of the mountains. They provide an excellent view of the city from upwards.

6- Royal Palace (Dar el- Makhzen):

Although the Royal Palace Dar el- Makhzen is closed for public, they view of this palace from outside is also treat for the visitors.

7-Al-Attarine Madrasa :

The Madrasa named Al-Attarine Madrasa is located near the spiritual center of Fez, Mosque of al-Qarawiyyin. In the entrance of the Madrasa, the Spice and perfume market is based. Thus, this Madrasa is called as the al-Attarine, which means the Madrasa of the perfumers.

8- Nejjarine Museum of Wooden Arts:

This museum of Fez displays a great collection of the wooden artifacts, from craftsmen’s tools to chunky prayer beads, also things like Berber locks, musical instruments etc. The café located on the rooftop also provides an excellent view of the city.

9- Glaoui Palace :

The Dar al Glaoui or the Glaoui Palace is a hidden beauty. It was the second home of Pasha of Marrakesh.

10- Moulay Yacoub :

It is a famous hammam located in the northwest of the city. The old thermal bath, prescribed for the medicinal purposes, is the specialty of this spa village.

Fez possesses a reputation of revealing its charm in a most unexpected way. A visitor has to feel this city to capture this charm on their heart.
