Tell me about you and when did you start Music?

I was born and raised in El Hajeb Morocco. I started singing very young as I grew up in a family of music lovers.  My dad was himself a Maestro Singer of Amazigh and traditional Berber Music.  My parents had a big influence on me and made me love art and music.  Very young, I started performing at school and other family events.

In 2007, I participated in 2M tv competition Studio 2M and won the prize and heart of the public.  In 2012, I was participating at a regional competition “Arab Idol”.  Followed in 2013, by a participation in X FACTOR, where I worked with renowned artists like Elissa, that allowed me to gain an important international exposure.

Tell me about your music and your work?

My first song ” Bariaa” was produced by 2M TV.  Then, I started autoproducing my own songs.  Lilat Mbareh, Sahraouia, reprise of of the french song “l’ete indien” are just a few.  Followed a duo with Youness Fekhari, ‘Hakolak Ih’ then ‘Mawjat Hob.

Imane’s latest single is ‘1,2,3’, a modern rythm lovers’ song.

Since then, I performed at international events and festivals all over the world.  I perform regularly in the USA and Europe and also at renowned Festivals in Morocco such as Mawazine in Rabat.

What is Next?

My song “Had L’am’ is a romantic song that is coming very soon.  The video, which was produced by the Morccan Ministry of Culture will be recorded in Tangiers, Morocco.  The release date is expected around valentine’s.  The song was written by Zakaria Haddani, composed by Redouane Diri and arranged by Rachid Mohamed Ali.

I am also working on a song with Dr Halam, a musician based in Texas.  The project, which started 2 years ago, will be recorded with video in the coming weeks.

Are you planning any future events?
